That is how the daydreamer dreams
As though reading through the papers
Flicking through the many reams
Sitting here or standing there
The daydreamer could be anywhere
Close their eyes and let thoughts wonder
Of the many things to ponder
The daydreamer's imagination
Takes his thoughts to many places
Seeing sights of great beauty
Meeting people of all races
Mountains higher than Mount Everest
Rivers longer than the Nile
Valleys low as they will go
These thoughts make the daydreamer smile
Lying on the comfy bed
The daydreamer knows he's at home
Even though there's no one there
The daydreamer feels he's not alone
