As the breath of rain protects my dreams,
It falls and dances on my windowpane,
Tranquility surrounds me, so it seems.
Forever and a day, will I love the rain.
Pools of water collecting on the ground,
Like portals into a fantasy land.
You lay awake listening to its sound,
It's comforting whistles so close at hand.
Look past the clouds that hold gloom and cold,
And see the fun in which rain possesses.
For when it comes all is uncontrolled,
Just sit back and release all your stresses.
Breathe in the sweet smell of the rain since passed,
While wishing it all came back to you fast.
