Ecstasy
The glowing sticks fly around me at the speed of light.
My weary eyes try to follow but are unable to keep up.
As I try to keep looking at them, they seem to go slower and slower.
Trying to pear at the mysteries of the twisting hands. But I see nothing.
As I keenly listen to the pounding music, a trance state befalls me.
Watching the fly around me. Just staring.
The music begins to pick up in beat, as do my hands.
I begin to think what is my next move. but nothing comes to mind.
My hands keep slipping deeper and deeper into the music as I ride the
melody.
Finally it stops. There is nothing around me.
No feelings of hate or madness slip around.
The trance state begins to bring me deeper and deeper into its lair.
Finally, it pulls me away.
I lose all consciousness of the world around me.
I begin to leave the Earth behind. I am free.
I am in Ecstasy.
But then it is all over.
I awake in my bed with my friends sleeping on the floor.
The glow sticks still faintly glowing.
I pick them up and start my trip all over again
