The rain still spills down my spine.
Ice still threads throughout my veins.
Fog blankets lustreless eyes
Goddess's black bird still guards me
Safety without the cage.
Those noises still echo in my ears,
The holly tree twines about me,
As words dribble off my listless skin.
Accept what you see,
Delve no more deeper
Simply leave it be.
And never know that, that rain is still dripping,
Trailing,
Down my spine.
