I crushed my suicide eyes.
They splintered like glass
In the palm of my hand,
Tiny crystals tempting to dissolve
Into the lines of my life.
I allowed them to slip off
Of my pink skin
Into my shiny blue trashcan.
They individually tinkled to the bottom
To rest with a floor full of dust
And a spooned-out cup of pudding.
