Best Friend
He was my best, best friend
He'd be that till the end.
Together we had fun
The laughing never done.
All the time we would play
'Till the end of the day.
My aunt would make us kiss
Her intentions not amiss.
Little kids we were
These things did not occur.
Between us things might change
For us it did seem strange.
He's now miles away,
For here he did not stay.
I never talk to him
His picture is now dim.
I think of him sometimes
And make up silly rhymes.
My best friend he is not
But is still in my thoughts.
I'll remember in the end,
That he was my best friend.
