The Garden
A shadow of death looms above
For no life shall be found here
Wilted dreams and decaying desires
Lay emasculated upon the ground
Traces of hope once lay
Buried deep in the ground
Warming the roots
Breathing life into them
A dark hand daunts the return
Of devotion to the garden
For no one cares
No one knows
And no one sees
Hidden behind the lies
Shaded by the past
Blossoms of faith once lived
Ornamenting the creation
Of a once perfectly woven masterpiece
A living corpse passes through
One last time
Her eyes weld with tears
Her garden has finally died
The Garden by Blackened Iris
