Black

Darkness soothing
As mother's womb
A cloak protecting
My feeling's in tomb

Beautiful pitch
Lacquered intense, the
Absence of colours, yet I say the
Conscience of the prism
Keep my secrets, safe from prying eyes

In the night your omnipresence shines
In the iridescence I lay
As you do I absorb
My muse is cultivated from Black
Only with you my desires are activated
I thrive
In Black I am alive

AN: Black is said to be the absence of color. So in point or technically black is not a color. In relation to light black absorbs more light than any other color in the spectrum. Well I hope I remember all that right, I want the poem to make sense. Thank you. vturnip a.k.a lostlucidity.
