I stare at the floor
And refuse to talk
Distract you avoid you
I don't want to speak
I bite my lip
And savor the warmth
The warmth from the trickle of blood
Why won't you leave?
I taste my past, my future
In those little drops
My tongue laps up
The coppery taste
I ignore you and turn away
And you leave me
Lip bleeding
I look up and you're gone
I stay
And stare at the floor
I kept my past and future right then
But you took away my present
Staring at the Floor by Broken Spiral
