Here's a poem we had to make in my Literature / Writing class...

In the Night I sing,
In the Night I dance,
For I do not fear
The Darkness.

I embrace it's Sorrow,
And laugh in the face of it's Danger,
For I know it's Mystery
Shall never be solved.

Alone I walk down the Road of Life,
As a wandering child
In a never ending dream of Twilight,
Waiting for the salvation of Dawn.

Yea.. in my class were reading Romeo and Juliet and we were at the part
where Juliet wants the night to hurry and come so she may see her beloved
Romeo... so in my class we had to find words associated with night or words
that night makes us think about and make a poem.

So.. yea... that's mine.. the way I see it... is that the poem says night
is a lot like life - unpredictable and also that life is destined.
Therefore, live life the fullest and do whatever you want because you never
know what's going to happen [like a child lost in the mysterious shrouded
night], because what's supposed to happen will, for destiny will always
take its course. And so i live life like that everyday, waiting for
someone or something to break me away from destiny and its course. Its
kind of confusing... I had to read through my own poem several times to
understand what I meant.. haha...
