A Sonnet
Find a corner for you to fill your mind
Seek revenge from the dreams that hunt your soul
Stop asking for the world to be so kind
And ask God not to play a cosmic role.

Find the truth that you hid from your own eyes
Seek the passage that you buried inside
Stop when the sun rises and the wheel dies
And find the shadows that the light can hide.

Find the scent of the memory you lost
Seek the wisdom of the life you hacked down
Stop before trees grow as high as the cost
And find the last of your soul in the ground.

Ask for the love of the things you destroyed
Feel the Earth shifting under your footsteps.
