-1Sunlight slowly brought Raven back to reality; she slowly opened her eyes to be greeted with the sight of cheap cotton blankets in an even cheaper looking motel. She checked to make sure her clothing was still on her body. Thankfully she had on her medium black Spider-man spaghetti strap shirt and light sky blue jeans. Next, she checked for her prized crucifix that her religious grandmother gave to her before she passed away. It wasn't around her neck.

Now fully awake, Raven sat up quickly and took in her surroundings. Half the window's shades were closed darkening a portion of the cold room. Inexpensive paintings gave an eerie feeling to the already scary room. They were little children around five or six, innocently playing what looked like a ring around the rosy game. However, the clouds showed signs of a deadly storm brewing. Beyond the painting the wallpaper reeked of years of neglect making the room smell of eggs and other not so pleasant things.

It was the image on the wall however, that captivated Raven until she heard the spray of the shower turn on.

Her mind started replaying the memories from the cabin in the woods. She remembered Kevin holding her, Joann and Angelia talking like insane asylum convicts and finally the butcher knife pressed against her face in an attempt to kill her.

Did I die? Is this heaven? Is God in the shower?

She shook her head and banished her crazy thought. Obviously trapped here, she started looked around the small table to her right and opened the drawers in attempt to find her necklace. This must have made a commotion since the shower abruptly stopped. She froze and as her senses awakened to the sound of someone coming out of the bathroom. She saw a direct pathway to the door but if she weren't quick enough the stranger would surely catch.

Raven walked slowly as if not to make any more noise then she'd have to. Sounds of a towel and curses rang through the small room as she almost made it to her escape. The door banged open to reveal the dusty blonde guy by the name of Kevin. Raven wanted to scream but by the look on his face she knew that was a bad idea.

"Hello my love," Kevin drawled. His southern accent was replaced with an English accent she couldn't place. "Sleep well?" His question sent shivers down her spine. It sounded as if he enjoyed the fact that she was unconscious.

"You sick bastard, what did you do to me? Rape me?" she stammered as she back herself into the room knowing she couldn't get past him. She stopped when her knees hit the edge of the firm bed.

"No, we'll have enough time for those kinds of games soon," he vowed curling his lips into a sinister smirk. His eyes ranked down her slim figure, taking in the curves around her bust and hips.

Raven grabbed the lamp next to her and held it in his direction as a weapon. She knew it was lame and straight out a B horror flick but hey, a girl has got to do what a girl has got to do right?

"Back off Kevin and I won't have to seriously kick your ass," she exclaimed cringing inside at her dumb use of words. She had to think swiftly or her virginity would go up in smoke.

"Kevin," he paused, "I hate that name it sounds me so boyish don't you agree?" He asked boldly walking toward her dressed in only a towel to hide his manhood.

Raven checked out his six pack of abs and was unavoidably blushing at his current state of appearance.

"I think it's okay," she breathed not wanting him to become angry or anything.

He chuckled and was rapidly closing the space between him and Raven. His eyes never left her red face as he winked causing her eyes to widen in return.

"I'm not Kevin pet, never was," he said as he backed her up against the coarse wall.

"So um, who are you then because I'm really confused? Are you going to let me go?" She breathed again feeling her body react in naughty ways. She cursed his movie star good looks and blamed the media for classifying beauty.

I need to stop watching television and start reading more. She thought to herself as she tried to pry her eyes away from his deep blue ones.

He ran his hands down her smooth arms as she gasped, "Stop it. Tell me who you really are." Goosebumps started to form on her arms as her thoughts jumbled.

"You're destiny." He muttered as he kissed her with all the passion he could muster.
