A/n- Thought I'd take anothe slab at this story. It's pretty quick and dirty (wink) but too dirty to get me into trouble, yet (double winks). Enjoy and please R/R! Thanks!
Raven had never felt this kind of passion in her whole life, then again she didn't go around kissing strange men in weird hotel rooms. He deepened the kiss as his tongue begged for entrance which she allowed. She then made a metal note to make out with more strange and attractive men.
When Kevin- not Kevin let out a moan her senses came rushing back. She pushed him away and held him there. If he wanted to kiss Raven again she would've let him, but for now he respected her wish to just talk.
"What are you talking about?" Raven breathed heavy.
"You are mine." He answered simply.
It wasn't everyday someone say that, she could get used to it.
"Alright, that's great. But why exactly do you believe I belong to you?" She didn't really want to know the answer but needed time to plan her escape before she never wanted to leave.
"A demon is going to take over your soul and my demon wants it, so in short I want you to be my lover." He explained as though it was a normal everyday occurrence. "Preferably, forever. In order to make that happen I had to save you from those stupid humans."
"But I'm human?" She had to ask. This was about the oddest thing that had happened to mher so far.
"For now." He returned brushing his hand across her cheek.
"Are you like, sure because I really don't want to waste your time or anything." Raven laughed trying to think again, damning her teenage hormones.
"You are one of the seventeen, the blessed and divine to be chosen as a vessel." She didn't understand a word he said because his face was coming closer stopping her thought process. "I was chosen to be your mate for this realm."
That was a weird thought, she had never been chosen for anything in her life. She was picked last for the soccer team and just about everything else in her life so that meant she wasn't important enough to be one of these seventeen special people to be picked out from the whole world.
"And um," her eyes were on his lips, "what exactly do we do as these chosen vessel things?"
He didn't answer but instead pressed his lips against her quivering ones once and moved back quickly to grab a book. It was under the pillow she'd been sleeping on and she wondered how she managed to not feel it. The book was as big as a dictionary as black as her hair with no title.
Wait, black? What had happened to her red hair? She grabbed a lock and focused on it. Had he dyed her hair black while she was sleeping? Who does that?
"We rule." He answered. It almost seemed comical and made him like the teenager he appeared to be. She forgot about her hair for a moment and tried to focus on him again.
"But I don't really want to rule anything, I just want to finish high school," Reality was bearing down on Raven. She wanted a normal life and after dealing with her father and mother she didn't need this crap on top of it.
"We will rule because it is written for us to do so." Again he kissed her but held her chin in place to gain better access. He released her and said, "I have already taken the liberty of awaking your demon. Usually it wakes up around eighteen or nineteen years of age when your soul believes it's ready to be taken over. You can see now that it's coming to life. I did enjoy your red locks but I can get used to this ebony."
"But I don't to be a demon, or your lover or to rule things- people, whatever." She whirled around so that she was no longer pinned beneath him. He grinned and leaned back against the wall. Oh how he loved a challenge he knew he would win. He even laughed slightly when she finished with, "I refuse to have any part of this."
She thought back to the cabin in the woods and how the two girls said it was her fault that her father's ex-girlfriend was murdered. If it was true then how could she live with that evil inside her?
"I don't even your name," she emphasized.
"Pardon me, that's entirely my fault. I am William and I hail from London or at least around that area. I came here to find you, if it wasn't meant to be those two bitches would've gutted you. But fate stepped in and allowed me to save you." He smiled and put his arms around her waist nuzzling into her neck.
She suddenly had another thought, if she was alive here then that must mean-
"You killed them?" She gasped. It wasn't if they didn't deserve it but they thought they were saving the world which apparently they were right about.
"I had to use their souls to awaken your demon," he shrugged off her concern, "I couldn't find one pure one so I had to make up for the other half."
This was insane, she thought. She started to cry, small tears trailing down her face.
"You see that won't happen to you anymore." He said as he licked away her tears. "As for why we will rule, well we will just have to find that out for ourselves. But for right now I think you should eat."
"Oh no, I'm a vampire aren't I?" She sobbed. He laughed loudly and squeezed her tighter to him.
"Of course not you silly girl. Although I think we get to keep these bodies like this for a while until we find the next one. I am not entirely sure." William softly placed a kiss on each of her cheeks and then the last on her forehead. "I was just as frightened as you are now and I didn't have anyone to talk about it with. You're not alone Raven, we are not alone."
She looked at his face, the face she'd seen in her high school hallways for three months. He stalked her for that entire time waiting for the perfect moment.
Suddenly there was a knock on the hotel door room.
"There's a bloody do not disturb sign on the door mate!" William shouted frightening the girl in his arms. "Don't worry I will never let anything hurt you."
"It's Adrian and I think you have my girl in there. You'd better open up before I break down this door." The booming male voice rang.
William stiffened and Raven knew her world was never going to be same again.
