The Thought Processes of a Rhyming Mind

A note jotted out,

In celebration.

A conformity of sorts,

Estranged collaboration.

Train wreck.

Ship deck.

Hen peck.

Hen peck?…What the heck?

Who-knows-what's,

And you-know-who's.

Definitely not's,

And practically do's.

Hmm…Train wrecked.

Double Decked.

Triple Checked.

…Uh…Something -ecked?

Now, what's left,

To understand?

There isn't a start,

I need a hand.

So…maybe?

Blossom tree.

Bunging-gee.

And, injured knee.

Yes, yes, now,

That makes sense.

No wonder they all,

Think I'm so dense.

Rethink.

With ink.

On the brink.

Weakest Link.

Bang, bang, bang,

My head on the door.

I'm a second away,

From calling Lenore*.

Pretty flower.

Silent power.

Near the hour.

…I'm presently dour.

Okay, now,

I'm just giving up.

This isn't working,

And, -…!… What rhymes with up?

-Yabou

- * - Lenore is the name of the woman from "The Raven" written by Edgar Allan Poe. The entire poem gives the feeling of a crazed man. Thus…it fits.
