What happened to that girl I know?
With her pretty blonde hair and eyes so blue,
Her flowered garland,
Our love so true.
But that was then, seems so long ago,
As I look upon you know, brow furrowed.
Your not the little girl from back then
How you've changed I cannot ken.
Once we were innocent,
I know we've both changed,
But your life is a rent,
A shadow of your life before, shamed.
I miss the girl you used to be,
The happiness from when we were young,
Is that girl still there, innocent and free?
Or is she gone forever, quartered and hung?
Whatever happened to that girl I knew.
