PS. I'm sorry if I didn't turn anything out for ages. I was reading up on how to get better. Tell me if it worked.

Loving, a Mystery By Sky Waters (aka. Triple Y)
In my normal, two bedroom apartment I started pacing again. I felt like I was torn in two. My fiancé, Kimberly, was reported missing... ...three days ago. Where she was, I did not know. Where she could be going, I did not know. All I knew was she was missing.
"She's dead, she's got to be. She never leaves the house for more than three hours. Even if she does, she calls me. She's got to be dead. It's the only explanation!" I rambled through oceans and oceans of tears as I hurriedly paced across the room. "Oh... I never should've let her go out this late. She still hasn't come back."
"Calm down Jay." The police officer, a dear friend of mine, put his arm on my shoulder, trying to keep me under control. "She's not dead, Jay. We find missing persons all the time. Now, could we have a picture to match her with?"
"Sure, of course, anything to help." I said. I tore through my dresser for a picture, throwing things out of the way. "Where could she be? She didn't take her car. She didn't tell me a thing about where she was going. This is just not like her!"
"Jay, we've got the whole thing under control. I understand what you're going through. If you could tell us anything that might be of use..."
"The old warehouse, just west of town," I handed him the picture, taking great care not to look at it again. I couldn't breakdown here, not now. I had to stay under control for her. "She always walks by the warehouse on her way to the market. I- I think that's where she was going. I've never been there myself, but she always says that she sees blood on the window sills."
"It's not much to go by, but we could sniff around. Could we have an address?"
"It's just two blocks down the road." I pointed. "Do you need me to show you the way? 'Cause I could."
"No thank you. I think it would be best if you just stayed at the police department for now."
"Oh, and please find her." I pulled a ring off of my finger and showed it to him. "We had just gotten engaged last week. Our wedding is next Friday."
The police officer stopped for a minute and hung on those words. If there was anyone who could find her it was him. He solved hundreds of cases every week. Still, this wasn't just any case, this time it was me. "We'll find her. I promise." was the sheriff's final word.
... ...
I waited at the police department for what seemed like hours. It finally settled in, she wasn't coming back. They never do. He might've solved hundreds of cases, but he received thousands. What was taking her so long? Is she really just missing?
The officer shook my shoulder. "Did you find anything?" I said as I looked up.
"We're sorry, Jay, but she wasn't there. Although, we did find the person held responsible for the kidnapping."
This was my chance. If I was going to find anything, it was here. She just might be found. "Well, bring him in."
"You heard him." The sheriff called to the other cops. They opened the set of jail bars behind him. The convict limped. He had a bullet wound in his left leg.
"What happened?" I said to the convict. "Where is she?"
"Where's who?" He said it like he was all high and mighty.
"Kimberly"
"I don't know no Kimberly."
"She was kidnapped three days ago. Now tell me where she is!" I said a little louder.
"Oh, that one! She's dead."
"Where is she?" I said a little louder.
"You'll never see your girl again." He said with a smile.
"Where is she?" I pressed, I was getting angry
"Didn't ya hear? I said she's in heaven. I don't take no prisoners, boy."
"Where is she?" I grabbed the sheriff's gun.
"Freeze!" Every other cop in the room pulled out they're gun in response. In my ear I could hear the sheriff trying to talk me out of it.
At the same time, the convict jumped up on the table and grabbed his left leg. "I don't know, I don't know!" He whimpered. "Don't shoot!"
She's dead, I thought as I starred at the cowering convict down the barrel of the sheriff's loaded gun, the Sheriff still talking in my ear. I didn't want to listen to him, though. I felt heartbroken. I'll never see her smiling face again. I'll never hear her sweet voice, or look into her hazel eyes, or kiss her rosy lips, or... I've got to find her. I thought. If not her then... *gulp* ...her body at least. I've got to know it for myself. Maybe she's not dead. Maybe she's just lost. I looked at the convict again. Ohh... This is getting me nowhere. I dropped the gun on the floor and walked out of the room. I shut the door behind me. I'll go to the scene of the crime. "You!" I turned and pointed to a cop at the door. "Take me to the crime scene."
"I'm sorry sir, I can't do that."
"Why not!"
"Why not? It's a crime scene!"
The sheriff came through the door. "What did you think you were doing back there?"
"He was harassing me!"
"He is protected under federal law!"
"I don't give a damn! I want to see my wife!" I screamed. "I want to see her NOW!"
"Calm down." The officer waited until he saw I could think clearly. "Now, I think you've had enough for one night. I want you to go home and rest. By tomorrow, all the detectives should be cleared out." He said "Since you're my friend, I will give you a tour personally. Does that sound all right?"
"Okay"
"Right, I'll see you at eight."

That night I went home tired in every way possible. I was depressed; I was heartbroken; I was exhausted. I started up the stairs but thought better of it. The house reminded me of her. The room, however, would send me on my knees. I couldn't bear to think of her any longer. I went to the living room. It was on the other side of the house. The farther, the better, I thought. On my way back, I heard a noise upstairs. Why does my mind play tricks on me? Why tonight? I got a warm blanket out of the closet and set it on the couch. I cried myself to sleep that night. I might never see her again.
The End for now...

I have the second part of the story written and I'm holding it for ransom. If I can get two reviews, just two, I will let it go. If I don't get two...
