Note: Alrighty. I WILL become more organized. I promise. It will happen sometime… lol. As the chapters progress, everything will become more organized. Due to suggestions, I will do something about the characters so that there won't be too many at one time. Not everyone will be mentioned in every chapter. In order to get a main part of the plot started, I need to concentrate on Dante for the moment. He may get a whole chapter to himself sometime. The group will be split up. You'll see. Thank you for the reviews and comments and Double A for his tallying skills. Blarg. More silliness coming… As a side note, here comes failed prank number one.

Chapter 2: Lune

The moon is high

And the sky rather light…

Where does the light lead…

To heaven or hell…

Er Li Belmont was in his room alright. Constantine could hear his snores from his room. Apparently, Belmont had probably just gone to sleep recently. Constantine rolled his eyes. There was no way he could sleep with that noise!

He still couldn't figure out where Victor was. His friend hadn't been in his room and had been nowhere in sight. Heck, he didn't even know what Victor did for a living. Eh… it probably had to do with selling candy. He sighed. Well, Jade wasn't back yet from the night before meaning that she would be back sleepy. He grinned. It was prank time.

Sasha locked the door behind her and climbed nimbly up the building. She made sure to be quiet. She put a hand above her eyes to block out some of the bright sunlight and better her view of the area. She needed her vision, and she was somewhat annoyed. Sasha skimmed the roofs for the thief. Her small jewelry shop was closed for now because someone had the nerve to steal one of her hard crafted beautiful pieces of jewelry. She noticed a figure jumping on to another roof. "Hmm… I see you!" She leapt after the figure quickly and then upon reaching him, she tackled him. They both fell off the roof of the building midair. Sasha landed safely. The thief did not. Sasha glared at the thief defiantly as she forcefully took back her jewelry. "Well, gotcha now! Don't you dare try to steal my jewelry again!"

The thief groaned. "It was ugly anyways…"

"WHAT?!" Sasha slapped him. "Why were you stealing it then?"

"Because my friend wanted it. She thought it was pretty. I don't know how. It's ugly."

Sasha slapped him again. "Good for your friend. Bad for you. You need better taste in style and honesty. Hmph!"

The thief groaned again when she slapped him and again. He watched her leave and quickly scurried off as fast as he could.

Sasha heard him scurry off. Hmph. Well, now I wonder what's going on in the Austrian area… I've been reading in the newspaper about people being attacked and bruised with two holes in their neck…sounds cool… heh… Well, more weirdness to ponder… I love this stuff! It'd be cool if it happened here. I can see stuff firsthand!

Harker was at the school yet again. He had given another pop quiz. Because of his laryngitis, he forced the students to figure out his disastrous made up sign language. Fortunately for them, he still wrote on the board. Unfortunately, Harker was in a terrible mood. The students grimaced and groaned when Harker gave them another pop quiz in the same period. He did the same for all the classes he had that day pausing only for lunch. He went to the bar that night and returned home late. s

Jade grinned. Perhaps, it was time to head back to the mansion. She supposed that Constantine would have been just sooo worried about her. She shrugged and skipped back quickly because then she would have to make another performance. She had slept over in Sasha's home. So, she was awake and cheery. Jade opened the front door to the mansion and walked in. "Hey, hello? Anyone here?" She cringed as she heard the distinct sound of Belmont snoring. "Hmm…guess he slept late…"

She walked up the stairs to her room and sighed. "Well, I suppose I'll drop off my books. Heh." She was about to open the door when she noticed Constantine in the corner. "Hello!"

"AHAHAHAHAHAH! Alekzander can't ever pull a prank right! Ahahahahah!" Anton laughed.

Jade blinked. Anton had come out of nowhere while Constantine had been quite noticeable. "Prank?" She shrugged and opened the door as she stared at the two of them. "What prank?" There was a huge splashing, and a bucket fell down with a loud thud from the inside of the room. "Oh… Constantine, that was the dumbest most clichest ever!"

"Ahahahaha, it didn't work!" Anton laughed.

"The floor's wet now…" Jade frowned.

"Bleh." Constantine made a face and turned around. "You can clean it up."

"What? How about you? You made the mess!"

"I own the mansion!"

"So? You're a brat!"

"Fine, the maid'll do it!"

"Lazy!"

"AHAHAHAHAH!"

Jade punched Constantine.

"HEY!"

"You deserved it!"

"AHAHAHAHA! Alekzander got hit! Haha!"

"…" Constantine rubbed his face. "Geez….I'm getting abused in my own house again!"

"AHAHAHAHA!"

Roderick Belnades stood at the firing range talking to himself. As long as there weren't many casualties or much to do, he didn't mind. These people are such newbies and noobs… He was in charge of the firearms. The boss didn't really care about him. Heck he knew more than the boss, but he wasn't recognized. In fact, when no one was watching, Roderick would start experimenting with the guns and testing. At the moment, he was watching everyone. They were amateurs, he thought. Definitely. Some of them had terrible skills. "Oh, crap," Roderick said as he saw one of the men raise the gun. It was pointed at another man. "I'm not a constable, but looks like I'll be dealing with him."

Dante wearily walked down the boardwalk. He yawned as he carried the luggage and waved to Kruez. "Romania at last," he breathed resignedly.

The town he had landed at was a small seaport. The breeze was wonderful, and as it was nighttime, the sky was dark. Dante looked around and headed toward one of many small but lit buildings.

"Well.." He leaned against a building and sighed. "Well, I'm supposed to meet someone at this place. Eh… the bar. I'll just wait out here… I'm not one who drinks. It is bad for one's health!" Dante grinned and stood proud. "Yeah!"

"Eh, you know… it's not that bad…make ya feel better from depression sometimes…" a voice said from behind Dante by the door.

"Who what where when what?!" Dante turned around sharply and saw a man nodded and holding a glass of beer. "Uh, hi? But sir, uh, if I know, it's been proven that alcohol is a depressant and makes you feel even more depressed?! How could it make you feel better by making you more depressed?!"

The man shook his head. "The world holds its wonders, kid."

"Kid?..." Dante blinked.

"Well, I suppose you that person from the realtors that I aim to pick up to deliver to the crossroads. Scary place I tell you."

"Eh? How so?" Dante asked. "This place looks rather normal." Well, it was. Dante had been all over the world….well almost all over the world. Every place looked different, so he had determined that everything was rather normal for each certain area.

"Well, the place where you're headed… I tell ya, be careful…" the man warned. "Well, come on. I'm ready." The man pointed at the horse and carriage tied to the fence by the building. "After you."

"Heh. Why, thanks," Dante grinned and lugged his light baggage into the carriage and sat down comfortably. "Nice carriage."

"Thanks." The man untied the tether and silently mounted the carriage driver seat. With a starting command from him, the horse started to trot.

The ride was eventless as the driver declined to make any motion to speak. Dante took the time to enjoy the scenery as he gazed at the landscape form inside the carriage. The sky was dark, and the moon was round and bright, its face gleaming and smiling through the wavering clouds. It was pretty much silent save for the lonely wolf cries and bird chirps. Dante didn't mind. He was too absorbed by the atmosphere and the landscape.

It was midnight when they reached the crossroads. The moon was up high in the sky. Dante shrugged.

"Well, we just wait now…" the driver said. Dante noticed he was shivering.

"You cold?"

"No…not at all…"

"Greetings there to you driver and your passenger!" a deep voice greeted.

Dante stuck his head out of the window. "Eh?"

"Uh, hello…sir… you're late…" the drive commented shakily.

"Well, nothing to complain about. I'm here. I'll take the passenger now to my lord."

Dante had now carried his baggage out. The opposing driver's figure was skinny. His eyes, Dante noticed, were gleaming and cold. The horses were dark and restless, and the town driver's horses were backing away slowly and whining. He blinked.

"Come along now, sir. The lord's expecting you, and I'm slightly late as it is," the opposing driver said.

"Ok. Thanks for the ride, mister." Dante smiled at the town driver.

The town driver nodded." Well, good luck and watch your step, sir." He nodded again and left.

"Well…erm, hi! Nice to meet ya. I'm Dante Alferi!" Dante said cheerfully.

The driver took Dante's luggage and dumped it into the carriage. "Get on. We're late." He nodded when Dante got on and boarded the driver's seat. "I'm Deanu Kain, but I am often referred to as Kain." The horses were trotting now. "The countryside's beautiful isn't it?"

Dante nodded. "Yes, it is. It's my first time in this area so everything's different for me."

It's dangerous out there though," Kain commented as Dante heard as the noise suddenly became very ominous and frightening. There were roars and screams…

"Uh, how so?" Dante asked.

"But you'll be safe here. My lord has his ways of protecting us."

"Oh…" Dante shrugged. "Well, what does he do? Shoot them?"

Kain didn't answer. The rest of the ride was eventless. Dante thought it strange that Kain did not answer. Soon enough after a while, Dante saw the castle.

"Welcome to my lord's humble abode," Kain said calmly. He opened the carriage door for Dante to get off. At that moment, the doors to the castle opened.

Dante blinked. For a place where people lived, it was rather dark compared to the surrounding area. It took a moment for his eyes to adjust to the figure in front of him.

"Kain, take the horses to the stable and then take his luggage to his room."

Kain bowed and went off.

Dante squinted.

"Well, hello. I take it you are the one I've been expecting from the agency; Sir Dante Alferi?" the man said.

"Yes, sir. " Dante nodded vigorously. "Oh, wait. I meant, yes, Lord!"

"Ah, yes. Allow me to introduce myself. I am Lord Vladimir Renaldo Lune…"

Well, he did certainly look pale. As pale as the moon? Well, Dante didn't know, but the name fit in a way. Lune was moon and he was pale as a moon. Dante grinned to himself. "Can I call you Double L?" he asked. "Lord Lune?"

"…uh…"

"Ok, never mind! Uh, hehe!" Dante said quickly.

"Well, since you've had a long trip, why don't we dine and then rest up? We shall speak of the matters tomorrow."

Date blinked. "Well, it's not necessary, Lord Lune. I'm fine. Really."

"But I shan't be a good host if I do not offer you hospitality. I do insist."

"Well, I suppose…thanks." Dante was exhausted after all.

"Kain, over there, will show you to your room."

Dante followed the lord's gesture. Kain was there… he had never noticed him. Hmm…that was some fast action packed traveling for Kain… eh?

"Well, hi again!" Dante greeted.

Kain walked on, and Dante scurried to follow. He led the agent to a room a few floors up. As they walked, Dante wondered if there were elevators…apparently there weren't.

They finally reached what was to be Dante's room. Kain unlocked the door to one of the rooms and opened it. He held out a hand toward the room with a bow. "You quarters, sir. Make yourself comfortable. I will come get you when dinner is ready."

"Uh, thanks man," Dante said as he approached the room. He entered and stood beyond the door. Behind him, Kain closed the door. Dante heard a click as the door was locked. Why lock me in? Eh… oh well. The room was medium sized. It was rather extravagant. Dante blinked at the large bed. It looked soft. The decorations were exquisite and ancient. The room even smelled of an ancient musty aroma. Dante shrugged. At least, the air was just right. It was neither cold nor hot. Dante looked over to his belongings. His baggage, a briefcase was on a small table. He walked over. Along the way, he noticed that there were bars on the one window in the room. He raised an eyebrow. "Well, might as well get comfortable. Think I'll leave my stuff in the luggage and just use the table drawers for the papers. This room is going to very cozy…."
