Again, I push away

I desire, yet, alienate.

All I want is to be wanted,

Yet, I give too much of myself.

And am stretched too thin

So as no one ever gets enough

And the true me is lost

With the wind as it blows

No one desires my friendship,

There is always another…

Like a heated competition,

I fail, yet I have no one to blame,

But myself, again.
