My mind races again

Like a wandering traveler…

Into forbidden territory,

The sign reads,

'No trespassing"

Yet, my heart, unsurely enters.

It sits stubbornly,

Yet its feelings are confused at best,

Like a child,

Indecisive, yet sure,

Lost within a cloud,

Wanting, yet knowing my place

To obey or to let go,

My heart tells me to be free,

Like a bird and fly,

Yet my mind tells me to respect,

And be content with his happiness.

Like Atlas yet again!

With everything I do in my life,

I always carry the burden of everyone,

I sacrifice myself, as Jesus did for all of us,

For the sake of others,

I lose myself,

As the dust flies away with the wind.
