It was the perfect day for a nice little hike through the woods, not too hot, not too cold, not too humid, not to dry, just perfect. Alex, a green eyed girl with long blond hair, was taking advantage of this beautiful day, hiking with her boyfriend Mark, a genius from South Carolina, her best friend Jane, and Jane's girlfriend Alice. They were switching between insulting Mark for his political beliefs, (he was a republican, the only one in their 9th grade), and wondering if bears got up to take a piss if they hibernate.
"Stupid radical leftists..." Mark muttered, angrily.
"I think they sleep walk," stated Alice. Alice always had strange ideas, and put all of her conviction behind them, until they were disproved beyond hope. She also didn't really pay too much to side conversations, such as Mark's complaining, Jane's doom talk, or Alex's obsession with birds.
"If they did sleep walk, it would only bring about the end of the world!" Jane yelled, "You know, the butterfly effect, chaos theory, yada yada."
"And they'd be prey for falcons, who can take down alert deer, imagine what it could do to a comatose bear..." Alex smiled, and added, "Case, closed." Then she started running around in circles, like a bird.
As she neared the side of a cliff, Mark called, "The bluff may fall!"
"No, don't worry! I can fly!" The cliff fell. Alex vaguely heard Jane and Alice yelling for help, and Mark screaming, just screaming. I have so much to live for. It's a pity that I'm dying. No, its not a pity that I'm dying! Its an insult to my life! I will survive! I can survive! And then the simultaneous pains in her back and brain caused her to scream.
"You will give it back." Melv had taken his lunch money for the last time. He was so used to getting his way, that he didn't notice that Adam looked different then normal, a short Asian kid with glasses. He shall pay! He shall pay for his atrocities, for even if they were minor, they built up! He owes us all, a very large debt.
Melee was an average student at Harvard, except that she was only15, and she had recently been found naked in a boys dormitory. She had a serious sleepwalking problem, and on the hot summer night, she had been sleeping without clothes. She didn't know what kind of punishment awaited her, but she could imagine her parents' disappointment. They wouldn't pay attention to her sleep walking problem, only the fact that she was too young for college, even if she had aced the SATS, and she'd be tormented in a grade school again, laughed at because she was smarter and richer than everyone else there. "No, no, no, no..."
The principal finally walked in, and just sat there for a little while, just watching her internal struggles.
College had been so much better, no one cared where she came from, she was an average freshman, just a few years younger than average, not too unlikely.
"I believe you know why you're here, Melee."
No, I don't. People who are found naked in a boys dormitory are never sent to the principal's office for punishment, hmm... maybe it was for that B I got in a psychology course last semester! "Yes, sir.."
"Although you've been a prestigious member of our community, our youngest in many years, and a female too, however, in the light of this incident, in order to protect our public image, we must expel you. Although our image will be protected, we regret that your expulsion will only give you more bad publicity, and I doubt you will ever be admitted to a college again."
Why can't we all just forget about this, yes, forget. That would be best, and then neither of us will have publicity, at least no bad publicity.
Driest day of the year, and Mike had chose that one to have a bonfire. Well, at least they have a lot of water to put out the fire. Even so, I'm glad I got here late, and I'm near the back. What's that idiot doing? Is that... Axe? Oh god... As Andy had predicted, the "Flamethrowers" came out now, everything aerosol, from butane filled deodorant to DEET filled bug repellant. He moved back a few paces, anticipating ashes, a bad smell, and a possible wild fire. Oh shit! They won't be able to put it out fast enough! They needed someone to man the hose, and he was probably watching the bonfire... Oh damn... Kelly! His crush, his incredibly beautiful, brunette, intelligent, crush, was near the fire, and didn't realize how dangerous it was. Right on schedule, the fire started. No, Kelly... If only I could stop the fire... FIRE! YOU WILL STOP! YOU INTEND TO HURT THE GIRL I LOVE, AND I WILL DENY YOU THAT! Andy could almost feel the fire's intoxication, and increased his silent calls, getting closer and closer to the fire, ignoring the other people's screams of fear. STOP! I ORDER YOU! DO YOU NOT OBEY ME?! ANDREW, THE RED, HOLDER OF POWER!
Kelly was having a great time at camp, she had arrived at the campfire early, so that she could have a good seat, and had been rewarded for her efforts. The only thing that would have improved her mood, would have been if her crush, Andy, red headed, fantasy nerd, personable, Andy, was sitting next to her, and if he returned her unrequited love. Oh well, that's never going to happen. She sighed, and noticed that the smell of cheap deodorant had increased, and that meant that the fire would flare up, making her uncomfortably hot. She moved behind her friend, Marissa, and waited for CITs to put out the flaring fire. They didn't. No! I can't die! I have a life to live! I haven't even told Andy I love him yet! If I was only a little less dense, I could float away, to safety...
Damien was free! FREE! Now I can see the Yankees, the single greatest source of hatred, next to the president, in action! This was real evil. He snuck into his father's box seats, and watched as they played. He could practically feel the evil energy, and it was... repulsive. He leaned closer, so that he could see better. If only I could see the batter a little bit better before father comes and takes me away...
