A/N: Hahaha, well sorry for the really short first chapter, but hey, this is my first crack at this. It's my first ficcy ^^;; Anyways some humor here and there, though not much for this chapter. I don't really know how many chapters this will be, but I bet you each chapter will be short ^^;; Sorry about that, but I can't really help it. I don't like writing obscenely long chapters. Haha, anyways enjoy this chapter, and some criticism would be nice. I mean constructive criticism. Please don't flame me if it's not to your liking. L

As chemistry class ended with Mr. Peterson, Mei bolted out the door towards her next class. Determined not to be late for any more classes. As she headed towards her locker there was someone waiting there for her.

"Hi. My name is Eric." Announced a Chinese boy, about her age, he happened to be in her next class.

"I know… my names Mei." Mei replied, confused why he was talking to her all of a sudden.

"I was wondering… if… well you wanted to catch a movie this Friday…?" questioned Eric. Concerned about her confused expression. He chuckled softly, thinking she looked sort of cute when she was confused. Hearing his chuckles Mei glared at him quickly, then as if in total shock, did not know how to reply. "I uhh…. Umm… well… uh…" was all that Mei could manage.

Eric looked at her, his eyebrow raised, as he eyed her suspiciously, quickly adding, "It's okay if you don't want to. But it was worth a try-."

"No it's not that!" Mei blushed, "It's just that…. well …you see, no one's ever asked me out to the movies before…." Me said, blushing even more. "But I'd love to go to the movies with you, what time?"

Eric just stared at her, then quickly getting back to his senses, "Umm how about I pick you up at 6?"

As they worked the details out Mei realized the time and yelled good-bye to Eric as she ran towards her Math class. As she sat in her desk, a familiar dark haired boy sat right beside her. Smiling at her, Mei realized it was Eric. She couldn't help but smile back. Then more thoughts flashed in her mind… Why is he all of a sudden talking to me? I mean guys had never paid attention to me before, then all of a sudden there's this stranger, Damian, asking me out for coffee, then Eric…asking me to the movies. Her mind then snapped back to Damian, wait a minute…. if I go to the movies with Eric… that could mean that … we're… we're a cou… couple. But what about Damian…spoke a mocking voice in her head, as his smiling face came into her head.

She shook her head; get a brain Mei, as if that guy was your boyfriend anyway. I mean why would he care if I went out with some other guy. It's not like we were even friends anyway. I mean…so he invited you to coffee? It's not like you signed a marriage contract with him. Also, it's not like he's interested in you in the first place. She shook her head once again, in sorrow, seeing the smiling face of Damian in her head she had this burning desire. She ached for…a cheeseburger! As her stomach grumbled in pain, she was burning with hunger. And she still had one more class after this before lunch. She ached for food. When suddenly there was a tap on her shoulder.

"You okay?" questioned Eric. Looking at her worriedly, she had just realized how strange she looked, aching in pain for food, and her face, all squished up. She couldn't help but laugh at her pathetic expression. Then replied slowly, "Yah, I'm fine, just a little hungry." Rubbing her tummy to express her hunger.

It seemed that only a few minutes later the bell had rung, and it was time for her next class. Thinking to herself in an optimistic attitude, two more classes, two more classes. As her schedule consisted of only 5 classes a day, she'd have only one class after lunch. She was glad the day was ending sooner and sooner. Though she wished it end even sooner. As she reached her class, it was none other than Social Studies, annoyed, she hated Social Studies, it was her worst enemy. She didn't want to go to class, when an arm suddenly wrapped around her waste. It was Eric. "Hey? Aren't you going to go to social?" grinning at Mei, Eric couldn't help think, she's cute.

Stunned, Mei finally released herself from Eric's grasp and replied distantly, "Yah, by the way shouldn't you be going to your next class too?"

Eric let out a chuckle, "I'm in your next class." Mei stood there, looking even more stunned than earlier. She was beginning to feel stalked, but this time by Eric. She wondered why he was even talking to her, and acting as if they were a 'couple'. Mei was never used to men treating her the way Eric was right now. She didn't like it one bit, it made her feel uncomfortable. She wasn't sure why, Eric seemed like a nice guy, but she felt that he wasn't for her. She wondered what they even had in common.

She went to her seat, wondering why she had even agreed to going to the movies with him, she didn't even know the guy. During the whole hour class she sat thinking of excuses as to why she couldn't come, saying to herself, get a hold of yourself Mei, you have two whole days to come up with something. She then realized, TWO MORE DAYS!? She couldn't come up with a good excuse… what was she going to say? Two days, urgh she felt so stupid for even agreeing to go to the movies with him in the first place. She didn't' want to be rude, but she just didn't feel comfortable around him. For some strange reason whenever he was around she wanted to jump out the window and kill herself.

The class had gone by so fast, you know when you dread something the minutes seem to go by like seconds, and the hours so fast. That was how Mei felt that day, she hated it, Friday was coming closer and closer. Then she realized, LUNCH! It was coming closer as well. As she giggled to herself, one more class. She was happy, as long as she can stop her rumbling stomach she'd be happy.

Again as she was headed to her next class, there behind her, was Eric. She decided to quicken her pace and practically jogged to her class, as she tried to run away from the guy. Wondering why he kept following her, not realizing that by simply saying yes to going to the movies would make him think that they were officially a 'couple'. She wanted to barf, not trying to offend the guy, but he made her so uncomfortable. She didn't know why, but it just didn't feel right, she felt like she'd rather jump off a cliff. It was something about his eyes that worried her. Trying not to look like she was trying to be rude, she slowed her pace, but not slow enough that he'd catch up to her, but not too fast that it showed she was avoiding him.

As she walked into her class, and took her seat next to her best friend Karen, she couldn't help but tell her about her strange day. But she decided not to mention anything about Damian, just her strange stalker, Eric. Speaking of the devil, there he was standing in front of the door, entering the class. (A/N: If you haven't noticed, they have all of their morning classes together except for first period xP).

Mei was scared to death; she didn't like having most of her classes with him, because it meant that he'd have a lot of chances to make moves on her. Let alone ask her things etcetera.

Karen, noticing her best friends worried look quickly changed the subject. Wondering why her friend had such a huge amount of suspicion towards Eric. He seemed like a nice, sweet guy. But instead of asking Mei, she just rolled her eyes and concentrated on the teacher. She thought that Mei was just being extra cautious, who knows? She shrugged her thoughts off as the bell rang. Looking to her right, then noticing that Mei was already out the door. Laughing to herself, she knew that Mei had had another hunger pain.

As Mei waited in line at the cafeteria, there was Eric, stalking her again. She felt his eyes pierce into her. She dare not look straight into his eyes; he passed her, no emotions showing in his face. But he knew she was avoiding him. So he decided to just give her some space. She decided to shrug of the crazy feeling he was giving her and grabbed some food. She sat down across from her best friend Karen as they munched on their food.

The day was nearing an end; Mei had finally filled her stomach so that it'd stop grumbling. She let out a long sigh, as she headed for her last class for the day. There at the end of the hallway, was none other than… Damian.

"Hi Mei." He spoke, flashing his dazzling smile at her.

"Oh… hi…" Mei replied, wondering what he was doing here. She thought he was done school, and knew that he didn't go to her school. "What are you doing here?" she continued.

"What? You're not happy to see me?" questioned Damian, noticing Mei's stunned expression. "Well after you left for school you forgot your Science book. I thought I'd bring it to you, but I never got the chance to. Since I knew you'd be in your classes. Although I'm hoping that you didn't need it earlier."

Mei stared at him blankly, and then took her text book, "Thank you, you know for the coffee and bringing me my text book and all. Though you didn't have to, but I really appreciate it." As she smiled at him, letting out squeals of joy in her head. She was so glad to see him, she didn't know why, but she loved being with him. A second later she wanted to slap herself, what the hell am I thinking? I don't even know the guy and here I want to just jump up and hug him… She wasn't sure how else to re-act when suddenly Eric appeared out of nowhere. Staring at Damian then at Mei, then back to Damian, then at Mei once more.

Mei didn't know this, but Eric in reality was a stalker. He just wanted her. So Eric, wanting Mei, was feeling a jealous rage surface as he eyed Damian carefully. Damian noticed the suspicious looks being thrown at him by the Asian boy wondering what he was thinking. But decided to ignore it, and looked at Mei, noticing the fearful look in her eyes, as if the devil himself had come. "Umm… do you think you could leave us alone for a minute? I need to talk to Mei," said Damian. Mei looked up, showing a slight happiness in her expression. As she stared at Damian, trying to smile to show that she was thankful. Eric looked hesitantly at Mei then at Damian, "Whatever." He said as he walked away.
