Shapeless mass of homicide
Creeping hands know where I lie
Stretched across a broken sky
Sacrifice and let us die
Torn by wind and water, too
Cautious not to disturb you.
Hidden in the mountainside
Angels chained in suicide,
Widows born afraid to die.
Childhood friends turn and deny
Nothing said will make you cry.
Candlelight reflecting
Tired workers now dissecting
Wreckage of a kingdom true
In destruction, born anew.
Rise above the charred remains
Sing of havoc made in vain.
Weep, the angels won't return,
Dashed to rubble as ashes burn.
Ruins by Eyes Unclouded
