I Wonder if in a magic dream
In a memory a hope has been revealed.
A wonder that no man could unfold
To create this would surpass the purest gold.
Since the time of all the ages, of mystery, of rhyme, of mine.
There's been a world so different from our own.
It was molded by the master the handiwork of God
The wonders of a lost and weary land.
Here on earth the wind is slowly turning.
To a foul and angry torrent, not a breeze.
But can you see the light ahead?
A wonder in itself has placed itself upon every mount.
So this garden is a place where the enemy hasn't lurked for many a time.
And Jesus is near
We've no reason to fear
For the end of time is quickly drawing near.
So I wonder if all this world were made of was nothing but fear and a
doubt.
No courage to spare
Only gloom and despair
This wonder is dying, Oh Lord! Lord, ..
Out of all the worlds You've created.
Are there others, will we ever know?
Have you written a book, much more holy and pure, or written on a stone
for them to know?
Lord, are we the only fallen wonder?
The one You proclaimed was good.
Lord, my spirit is weak and it's now that I seek, comfort in your sweet
embrace.
And, Lord, you are near.
We've no reason to fear.
For the end of time is quickly drawing near.
But now I think I see light at the end of the tunnel.
Lord, I pray, it's daylight not a train.
Well, whatever it is, Lord, You've promised to give me the strength and
carry me through.
Oh, Jesus You died.
You alone crucified
By love You pardoned us all.
And now, our Father, is near.
We've no reason to fear
For I trust You are quickly drawing near
To the fallen wonder that you once proclaimed, was good.
