The lightning of Envy strikes me,

The depths of Woe pull me down,
But I know You will lift me up.
The storm of Disaster rages around me,
But I know You are the calm that comes after.
The fortress of Bitterness imprisons me,
But I know You will set me free.
The chains of Anguish bind me,
But I know You will release me.
The heat of Jealousy burns in me,
But I know You will help me keep my cool.
The arms of Death seek to embrace me,
But I know You will grant me Eternal Life.
