"Hey Rayne, looking hot!" Jaedon smiled in his extremely idiotic way.

"Jae, do the words 'internal bleeding' sound appealing to you?" I snarled at him.

Jaedon put his hands in front of him in a sign that I should back off. I did, but not before giving him one last glare. I know why he said what he said and I looked down at my very tight, very revealing bathing suit. I groaned.
It was a pinkish purple colour and had a shiny look to it. The bikini bottom had strings that tied together at the sides to keep it on, and the bikini top was halter style. I hated it.

"Ray, come on!" Liv grabbed my arm and started pulling me towards the beach.

We laid our stuff down and spread out our sand mats to tan. I sat down, reached into my bag, and pulled out my sunglasses and suntan lotion.

"You girls aren't gonna tan now, are you?" I lifted my hand to shade my eyes and lifted my head to see Mark, Liv's newest boyfriend. "No Mark, we were planning on solving the worlds mysteries with our suntan lotion." I said sarcastically

"Hey, go easy on him Rayne. He's my guy." Liv got up and wrapped her arms around Mark's neck.

Only for about two weeks, I thought. I love Liv as my best friend, honestly I do. But when she goes through guys like tissue paper, it gets sad and very annoying. I knew Mark was a victim.
I put on my sunglasses and laid on my back, allowing the warm rays off sunlight darken my skin. I heard a slight moan from Liv and gritted my teeth. I knew what they were doing.

"Hey guys! If you are gonna make out, do it elsewhere ok?" I said.

"Chill Rayne. We'll go." I heard Liv pick up her stuff and walk away.

Peace, I thought, is a very rare but welcome thing.

"Hey Rayne!" There goes the peace.

"What do you want Jae!? I'm kind of busy right now!" I yelled

I felt water dripping on my toes. I knew that Jaedon was standing almost directly over me. A little closer, I thought, and I'll kick you in the balls.

"Want to come in the water?" He asked.

"Not really."

"For my personal reasons."

"And those would be?"

"They are personal, which means I will not be telling you in the near future what they are."

"Oh, come on, you know you want to."

"Pervert, come up with something original once in awhile."

"How's this for original?"

Jaedon grabbed my feet and started to pull my towards the water front. I squirmed, kicked, and screamed bloody murder, but before I knew it, I was tasting sea water. I was only about a foot deep, but Jaedon picked me up and decided to carry me in further. He slung me over his shoulder and started wading in deeper. I pounded his back and kicked his chest, but it only made him laugh.

"Not a chance, Rayne. You have totally earned this."

I felt myself being flung into chest deep water. Salty sea water instantly flooded my nose and mouth. I floundered around for a minute before touching the ocean floor. I brought my head out of the water, catching my breath and choking at the same time.

"You...moron!" I choked out. Jaedon just stood there smiling.

I noticed something wrong with me. I looked down into the slightly murky water and gasped. My bikini top was gone! I screamed and crossed my arms over my chest. Desperately, I looked around for the purple top. I felt around for it with one arm, but came up with nothing. I sank in the water a little bit, moaning about my misfortune.

"Rayne, what's wrong?" I turned toward Jae and gave him the biggest glare known to female kind.

"You..you...YOU IDIOT! I have LOST my bikini TOP!" As soon as the words were out, I regretted what I had said. Several teenage heads turned toward me and looked at us quizzically. I sank even lower.

"Whoa, bad thing to lose huh?" Jae said.

"No shit." I felt around for it one more time and was about to give up, but then I heard a voice behind me.

"Hey, uh, is this yours?" I spun around and found the most cute guy I had ever seen standing there. He stood about half a foot taller than me and his black, curly, wet hair clung to his broad forehead. I looked into his eyes and saw the deepest shade of blue possible. His face, though confused, was tanned and had the look of a strong young man. I knew that this guy was hot! And not only that! He held my bathing suit top in his hand!

"Thanks." I said. I grabbed the top and submerged under water to put it on. I emerged from the water and smoothed my hair back, and was very surprised to see the guy still standing there. Not that I objected of course.

"Hey, um, thanks again for finding my top." I said, and I turned around to head back to shore.

"Is that it?" He asked.

I turned back. "Is what it?"

"You aren't going to tell me your name?" He smiled, and I felt my heart melt.

"It's Rayne. What's yours?" I said, turning to face him fully.

I nodded, not knowing what else to do. "Well, it was nice meeting you Cameron, but I have to go back now. Bye, and thanks!"

"I wouldn't worry about not meeting me again, Rayne. We'll see each other."

I smiled, very confused. "Ok, then."

I turned around and made my way back to shore, Jaedon walking alongside me.

"Well, Ray, looks like you might have a stalker or he's batting for boyfriend." Jae teased.

I punched him lightly on the arm. "Can it Jae. I don't need a guy right now."

Jae smiled again, rubbing where I had punched. "Maybe you do."

A/N: Ok, ok, I know this chapter was crappy, but I needed something to introduce Cameron. In case you haven't guessed, Cameron is 'the guy', but I'm not into giving away the plot of a story. :) sorry.

Thanks to those who reviewed. You are truly awesome :)
