I want to have my money,
Saved up in four bank accounts,
Saved for rainy days,
That never happen -
For it to just lie there,
Unspent, unused.
I want to decorate my garden,
With lavender and ivy,
Telling children to keep off the grass,
Sitting inside my house,
Watching the flowers
Wilt and die.
I want to have children,
A girl and a boy,
Whom I can shout at constantly;
A son who is never home,
A daughter who despises me,
Full of silence and anger.
I want a husband -
One that I can argue with,
One that I can pretend with
When guests come to dinner;
Someone who I can control,
'Til death do us part.
