Your White Canvas
I stare at a white canvas
Its blankness I awe
Before me stand all the colors
So many so many
Which one's to choose
As life itself there are many ways
Some good
Some not
Like a maze
Turning corners
Never knowing where you'll end up
You try to take shortcuts
Mess up
Get lost
Fall through the trapdoor
End up in a hallway
Looking down at the many doors
They all look the same
But each holds its own secrets
Someone tells you to go to the left
To the right
Shake them away
You choose your own path
Your own colors
Your own exits
Your own door
Then you'll truly be free.
