"But Reyna! You CAN'T change! I'm stuck in this!" She gestured to the black short skirt and white long sleeved shirt she had chosen for our performance. "I look perfectly stupid, but your going to go and change, leave me all alone to look...repulsive!"

"Wow, big word..." I said unconciously.

"Rey-NA!"

"Hmm?"

"There is NO WAY I am going to let you."

"Em..."

"What?!"

"Shut up. You look fine." Oh, I'm sorry. Allow me to introduce myself. And Em, too, but that's for a little later...

I'm Reyna. Reyna Masters. If you would ask someone to describe me(who didn't totally hate me) they would most likely say the following:

I have blonde hair and electric blue eyes(but only thanks to contacts-normally they would just be regular blue). I'm 5 foot 3, 14 and in 9th grade. I've been home-schooled for about 3 years now, but I sometimes take classes at a regular high school (Falcon's Crossing Academy).

The girl who was bugging me a minute ago would be Emily Carson. She's one of my best friends. She's got light brown hair(almost blonde) and green eyes. She's 13 and in 7th grade, and goes to Falcon's Crossing Academy also (which I failed to mention is a Middle and High school).

Anyway, today at our church we had performed with the Youth Choir. And they had earlier asked the girls to wear a black skirt and a white top.

After we had performed, she found out that I had brought extra clothes. And realized also that she hadn't. Now, Em has never really been one to want to stand out.

UNLESS, someone was doing it with her.

Thus, she was bugging me.

Sigh.

I walked into the bathroom to change and into a stall, where outside of which she was still talking.

"Okay, if I look fine, and your wearing the same thing as me, why can't you NOT change we'll both 'look fine' together?" she said.

I rolled my eyes. "Because I want to change." I replied. I stepped out of the stall and stuffed the clothes into my bag. I had changed into a baggy pair of dark blue jeans, black converses and some random t-shirt.

"Too late now anyway," I pointed out. She sighed.

"Don't do that. You'll make me start to feel guilty," I said, glancing at her while putting on some fresh make up.

"Really?" she said and smiled evilly.

"No."

"Oh. Ok."

We looked at each other and started giggling.

Soon we had stepped out of the bathroom and went our separate ways. She, to big church, and I, to Children's Church (where I was a helper-bet you were wondering why I was so casual, huh?).

As I step outside to go to the Children's Church building, cold air hit my face. I love winter, even if in Florida it isn't really so different as anything else(according to people who've visited from other states, at least.)

My feet automatically took me to the building, and it's a good thing too, because the way my mind was wondering I probably would have ran smack-dab into the wall. I opened the door and walked in, brushing my soft curls out of my eyes(the only reason they were soft was because of the 2 hour tease this morning, but at least they got that way...).

I set my stuff down on a random chair in back and started to walk about, looking for any kind of intelligent life form. I saw Jay, but keep in mind I DID say 'intelligent life form'...

Jay is nice and everything, but sometimes we just don't get along. I didn't want to take a chance.

And what do you know, I found someone. Finally. Every since they built the separate buildings, everything was way bigger. I mean, that's good, but it takes quite a while to get from one part of the building to the next.

Anyway, the person I found was...get ready...my best friend Nikki!

"Yay! Your here," I said.

"Yeah," she agreed. "I've been here since 7:30 this morning."

"Seriously?"

She nodded.

"Why?"

"Came with Rain's mom."

"Oh." Rain was one of my other friends, and her mom was in the adult Choir.

People began to trickle in, and the room was soon full. I walked around and told a bunch of kids to be quiet. Then I took a break and sat down in the chair that was supposed to be mine. And felt something underneath me. And heard something say,

"Hey!" I stood up quickly and turned around.

Jay.

"What are you doing in my seat?" I said.

"Uh. Sitting?" he replied smirking.

"I don't think so."

"Well then take a closer look."

"I think I'm looking close enough."

"I think you think too much."

"I don't think you think enough."

"Oh really? And why is that?"

"Hey Jay, can I please sit there? I've been walking around all day and my legs just ache." said a girl named Penny(who had a crush on him).

We both looked at her. I glared at him. He smirked back and said,

"Sure." As he got up and Penny sat down, I gaped at him.

He shrugged with a small grin on his face.

"She asked."

"Excuse me? That was MY chair."

"I didn't see your name on it."

"That's because your fat butt was on top of it." I walked away. I didn't exceptionally feel like arguing anymore today.

Instead, I sat between my 2 other best friends, Jake and Kelly. At the time, Jake had black hair and it was not in a shag, but never the less...well...shaggy. He had blue eyes and was home schooled. And Kelly had dark brown hair and green eyes and went to Falcon's Crossing Academy.

Soon, Children's Church was over. Kelly, Jake and I followed Nikki to her mom, who when we got there, asked,

"Do any of you happen to have an extra set of keys to my car?"

"Mom. We don't even drive yet. Hypothetically, Reyna already crashed her first drivers test." answered Nikki, rolling her eyes.

"Huh?" I said, totally clueless. Nikki's little brother, Ryan, walked in.

"She lost her keys," answered Kelly.

"No, she locked them in the car," corrected Ryan. We all looked at him, then at her. She shrugged.

"I'll go get a coat hanger," offered Jake.

"Good idea," I said and they all agreed, so Jake went off to find a coat hanger.

We stood and waited for 5 minutes. Then 10...

Well, to make a long story short, he proudly came back 45 minutes later with a coat hanger. 10 minutes later, we finally got the thing open. 30 minutes later, we were home and eating ice cream.

It's funny how something like this is actually a very normal day for us...
