Elephant Sonnet
Yesterday I saw a big elephant
It was the same I drew with my pencil
I realized he was wearing my pants
Suddenly he went into my stencil
I put the stencil on my father's desk
And then a storm broke out of light and hair
Feeling too afraid and too shy to ask:
"Was all that hair from a giant bear?"
I knew that now could be my turn to die
But life gave me a second chance to live
I'm still asking myself, keep wondering why
All things from my stomach needed to leave
Now I know just what the big problem is
I ate anchovies with rotten berries!
