"Okay, do I get the Extra Whipped, Low Fat, Non Fat, or Low Cholesterol whipped cream?" Sierra stated with a pout of her face, looking at the amazing array of whipped creams. It was incredible all the crap they could do to such a simple thing. "Letta….Letta...?" she said looking up and around her in the cold refrigerator section for her sister who was supposed to be helping her find dessert.
"Cruddy, now I'm going to get something 'miss picky' doesn't like because she didn't help me pick it out." She mumbled to herself still searching for the good ol' regular Whipped Cream.
"Is this what you were looking for?" A deeper voice sounded from slightly behind her.
Sierra turned around to face an elderly man holding up a can of Regular Whipped Cream.
"Oh! Yes it is!" she said smiling happily as she grabbed it from his outstretched hand. He was dressed casually, and old fashioned European style hat on his graying hair. It made him look sweet and approachable.
"Thank you so much. I just moved here and it seems I can't even find the simplest thing in a grocery store." She spoke conversationally, gesturing around herself at the many aisles.
"And I thought that all grocery stores were the same!" She said partly sarcastically, laughing at her inability to grocery shop.
"Not a problem at all" he said ducking his head slightly and chuckling at her enthusiasm "Miss…?" he continued, looking up again, the grin still tugging at his mouth.
"Oh sorry, forgot my manners. Miss Sierra." She said, putting her hand out.
"Nice to meet you Miss Sierra. I'm Greg Parker." He said shaking her hand. "It was nice talking, but the wife will be wondering where I am if I'm out too long, if you know what I mean." He said with a wink and laughter in his blue eyes. He waved as he walking away smiling just because he could. The girl was so happy and easy to laugh, it just made you smile.
Sierra grinned at the implication and waved goodbye, walking back down the aisles to find her sisters and head home.
