A Fool in Love
She couldn't believe she was in love
She felt as if she could fly.
Just spread her wings like a dove
And believed he would never make her cry.
She went through days in a dream-like state
She felt as if she could float.
Then he broke their date
She wanted to turn him into a goat
Her friends told her that loved could be cruel,
But she didn't believe them before.
She began to think of the days,
When she acted like a fool.
She decided that he must pay.
Her friends slit his tires,
And she set little fires.
