"Watch were the hell your going." A loud mean voice told her.
Trinity groaned and kept walking. Some people were just mean. How can people actually be mean like that anyways? Never had she met a person so ignorant as him. Or so she thought.
The boy, or young man considering he is 17, was not one of the nicest on earth. He was smart, but never showed it. He loved making people's lives miserable.
'Sometimes I think I could just twist his head off that neck of his for being so self-centered.' Trinh thought as she got to her locker.
Her long, light brown hair wasnt put up in a ponytail today, but it looked great none the less. She wasnt wearing her contacts today, so her eyes were a blue/green, instead of brown. She stuffed the books she was holding in her bag and took it out.
"Hey Trinh!" She heard as she shut her locker and twirled around to meet kara standing next to her.
"Oh hey! Whats up?" Trinh asked to her good friend. Good friend because she doesnt have any BEST friends. She thinks they are all equal to her, though if she had to pick one, it would be Kara.
"Not too much. Just finished my last exam of the year, Math." She explained and groaned. Kara hated math. She wasnt great at it either, that made matters worst. But Trinity knew she was going to pass the exam.
"What are you doing at school today? I thought you were done your exams!" Kara asked all of a sudden, remembering that Trinh was done.
Trinh sighed. "Yeah... im done. I just came in to finish reading this book in the library. Plus, I forgot some books in my locker."
"Oh. So, Whatcha doing tonight?" Kara asked as they got out of the building and walked towards trinh's car.
"Nothing really, I was thinking of just sleeping in. Im just tired, and I have no idea why. I shouldnt be tired anyways."
"Oh, I was planning to go to Hugo's. You comming along?" She asked as she got in the passenger seat and Trinh started the car up.
"I dont know, I dont really feel like it tonight. I dont know why. I love the place and all.. I just dont want to go tonight for some odd reason." She expressed as she drove towards Kara's place.
"Oh... pretty please? For old times sake! Pleassseee!" Kara begged with her cute puppy eyed look. Trinh Grinned.
"Fine! The boys there are quite cute anyways." Trinh said, and they both giggled, admitting it was true.
Hugo's Bar was their favorite place to have fun at. They knew the waiters great, the owners were friendly, and the customers were cool. Sure there were some freaks, drunks and all that, but thats only normal. They had spend some good times there. Trinh and Kara both drink responsibly and almost never get drunk. If one of them do, the other stays sober... for safety. They both could drive, but most of the time when one drinks the other does too. Kara was leaving for college soon. She had applied and been accepted at Canadore College in Ontario, Canada, which left Trinh in Montreal, Quebec. But they had talked about this, so the shock wasnt as big. Sure, neither wanted to be split up, but it had to happen. Trinh decided to do one more semester at least, of highschool, to raise her grade. Also, she was unsure of what she wanted to do with her life.
So they were going to go party tonight one last time before Kara was to leave. For good old times. Yes, They are under age in ontario, but had fake id since they were 16, and in quebec, legal drinking age is 18 anyways.
Later that night, they were once again in the same car and heading to Hugo's. Once they got in, they heard the music from the dance floor next to the bar. A fast song from Goo Goo Dolls was playing. Then she eyed some boys as Kara and her walked up to the counter at front and sat on two available seats. It wasnt peak time yet, or else they wouldnt have gotten seats. They started making small talk and were thinking about what kind of drinks they would get, and who they could possibly meet here tonight as a man came up to them.
"Hey ladies. May I steal this charming young woman here for a dance?" He asked as he offered his arm to Kara.
The two girls exchanged expressions and the two left to dance. Kara was really pretty, and there was not a night she didnt get asked to dance with. Its not that Trinity wasnt pretty, because she was beautiful as well, but she wasnt as lucky. Also, for some reason, she haddent been able to have a good relationship with someone, she had a hard time trusting guys. She didnt know why, but vowed to be able to have a relashionship with someone before she was too old. The music seemed to get louder and more people were coming in. Trinh glanced at Kara who was now dancing with a new guy, she looked like she was having fun. Trinh stopped staring as she felt she was being watched. She haddent noticed the guy that was sitting next to her, were Kara was sitting earlyer.
"Hi there." He started out.
"Hello." Trinh replied, putting on a sweet smile and looked up to meet a BEAUTIFUL pair of blue eyes. His eyes read all sorts of thing, but mostly adventurous was the term. She couldnt break for the stare so she had said hello instead of looking away.
"Do you want to dance?" He asked and smiled.
Trinh still couldnt speak, so she nodded instead. What was it about this guy that made her brain go numb? She never reacted that strongly before. He stuck out his hand and she grabbed it as they went to the dance floor. And they danced. She had fun.
In time, her, Ambrose *the guy she was dancing with*, Kara and Brad *the guy she was dancing with* were all dancing together. But Trinh didnt dance long, as her and Ambrose decided to get drinks instead. She decided to tell kara to make sure she got home before 1 am, considering she was tired, and Kara agreed to stay sober and drive her home. With all the dancing and drinking, Trinh started to want some fresh air so her and Ambrose went outside to breathe.
"So... you go to this bar often?" He asked and they walked slowly down the sidewalk.
"Yes. Its my favorite one. I've been going there for... a year about?" She replied.
"Cool. Yes, its a good place. Friends and I go often. Suprised I didnt see you around before!" Ambrose noticed.
"We must have missed each other. I come here fairly often tho."
"So.. are you single?" He asked grinning, not seing why not ask. It was a little passed 12 and the moonlight was shining on Trinity's soft sparkling hair.
"Yes... I am. I would have probably invited my boyfriend along if I was taken." She noted. "Are you?"
Ambrose grinned. 'Duh... no taken babes go to bars without their guy' he thought. "Yes, actually I am." He smiled.
A silence then took over and they just stared at each other. Apparently, Trinh still wasnt able to break from the spell he cast with his eyes. They had stopped walking back, but neither of them seemed to notice.
