Honestly Alone

Paralyzing pain shoots through my lungs,

As I deeply inhale the tainted air.

Trapped in a box, freedom just out of reach,

Bliss, an illusion that's not really there.

Sitting alone, shrouded by blood and tears,

I have no faith and hope isn't sincere.

Lamentation over my condition entirely in vain

Nameless faces walk by with botox smiles,

Peroxide teeth glinting white in the sun.

Waiting until they're out of sight,

To stop fabricating the accepted normality,

While I'm alone and trapped in honesty.

A/N- I'm proud of this oneā€¦please review!
