Sitting by the riverbed
Waiting for him to come and save me
I listen for that voice of reason
And then I see the face I love so dearly.
He comes to me and picks me up from this cold place
Taking me into his arms
And he places me on a white horse
Then ride away from everything.
He cares for me
And takes away the rain that pours from my eyes
He makes me happy when all seems lost
He hold me when I'm afraid of the world.
He sits with me for hours and loves me for me
But then in the middle of it all my eyes open
I lay and stare at the ceiling above me
And all goes back into the darkness as I lay alone and wait again.
Dreaming by hushednightmare
