Lost in translation
No, lost across the sea.
A meeting of chance
Why do the fates hate me?
A ticket in her hand,
A ring on her finger.
Affection I try to push away
But no, it lingers.
What should we do?
A month is not long
It all started with
"What's your favorite song?"
Dinner and some coffee
What a small start.
How were we to know,
We were in each other's hearts?
So now I sit here
All black and blue
Thinking about
Just what to do.
Now I'll ask the question,
From which I like to hide
Why does it seem
That fate is never on my side?
