Out of the blue she called him,
Talking about their past,
It was as if he never left.
The hours on the computer were nice,
But to hear his voice was awesome,
And the hours went by like no time.
Reminding her of their phone calls back home,
Every subject was talked about with ease,
it was like nothing had changed.
Although everything had,
And when it ended she hoped,
That they had renewed their old friendship.
But not like the old one,
A new one better than the old one,
Cause they were different now.
Even thought time had changed them,
Made them better,
She always knew they'd still be best friends forever.
