On another dark night she lies in bed,
The once comforting surrounding,
Began to annoy her,
She finds no peace.
No rest for the wicked,
No rest for her,
Night by night she tried to hide her cold heart,
And night by night she fails.
Then she stars to write,
Words that express the anger growing in her heart,
Each and every night she stays awake,
Hour by hour goes by, then the sun rises.
As she lies awake,
Her mind thinks,
She thinks of her friends,
But also of her family.
But the more she thinks,
The more she wished she could run away,
Away from this life,
Away from these problems.
As she writes these feelings go away,
And she sees that this is her way of getting it out,
By understanding this,
Is what makes me here today.
