Back to school again
With the incense stick of stress lit
When dextral spirals of endless tasks
And the clichéd steps to take
Are underfoot and underway.
The last wisps of summer
Fade from your heart
But linger on your sun kissed skin
You know you'll never meet
The person you knew again
For school changes the person in everyone.
Lets just hope you'll recognize yourself
When you take your first step into school
And the last step to your past
