I fell from the sky,
A soft harmonious scream,
Wings borrowed from an angel,
Sailing me home,
Bubbles of feeling,
Balloons of thought,
A falling star,
Piercing them through,
Slashing the midnight sky,
A bright light among demons
They just turn away,
As I smile to them all,
Their fear is there,
They wear it on their sleeves,
I brushed mine off,
I dug it a hole,
Can't touch me no more,
No funeral service,
No church bells tolling,
Just a quiet grave marker,
Next to pain and my past,
Deep in my soul.
