Darkness over took my light.
Your words clouded my mind as you escorted me to the door
Your thunderous voice hurt me to the core.
I felt as though a raging wind was shattering my heart
My feelings, my love, my whole being was slowly coming apart.
The calm icy river was now becoming a flood
Your hatefulness chilled my warm blood.
So sudden the icy raging river arose
Somewhere in its shallows, lies a love that is froze.
