Lifting the letters upon this stone

Once a world filled with pain

Released within this rock

Standing taller than one so small

The frail innards beneath the surface

Beings of life cross beyond these borders

Defeat against the fight for existence

Trying to keep away from the earth

Being contained by it

Encircled by unspoken whispers

So far below the world

But so close to touch the façade

Wood surrounding about this victim

Light focuses upon this corpse

Once loved beyond all reason
