Turning on a Light

You open the door,

Search for the switch, and turn on the light.

But it doesn't turn on,

So now you're with fright.

But don't worry-

For you're still a small one.

You'll get it

Once the job is done.

Your guardian comes in,

Shows you where it is,

And how to turn it on.

So now you can't quit.

With time you work

And strive for a knowledge expansion.

Once you do get it,

You turn on the light,
