55Kris and Jess walked towards the bathroom talking about their summers when Kris suddenly bumped into a body. She flew backwards but was caught by a pair of strong arms before she could hit the ground.
"Are you alright?" a deep voice questioned as blue eyes penetrated green eyes. Kris felt the pair of arms leave her side causing her to blush and look down.
"Yah, thanks." She said softly before looking up.
"I'm Nathan." He said with a soft smile as he shook her hand.
"Kris, and this is my friend Jess." Kris said as she pulled her friend forward. Their eyes connected for a moment before Kris looked away.
"It was nice meeting you Kris, Jess. I'll see you around." He said with a grin before he walked away, looking back once to wink at Kris.
"Wow..." Jess said softly before they both laughed and entered the bathroom.
Nathan rang the doorbell, running a hand through his dark brown hair, waiting for an answer. The door soon swung open revealing Drake.
"Yoh Drake, it's been a while man." Nathan said as he hugged his cousin. They did their handshake before heading up the stairs.
"So how do you find the school so far?" Drake asked his cousin as he closed the door of his room behind them. Nathan plopped onto the bean bag near by while Drake threw himself on the bed.
"It's pretty cool, and I must say that there are a lot of hot girls around." Nathan said with a mischievous grin as he caught the bag of chips that Drake threw at him. Nathan opened the bag of chips and popped a Dorito into his mouth.
"Tell me about it, they're all pretty hot and I've dated well say... 90 of the hot female population in our batch." Drake said with a cheeky grin as he grabbed the bag of Doritos from his cousin.
"Damn Player, you haven't changed a bit."
Drake laughed at his cousin's remark and was about to say something when his door flung open. Kris' head popped from a side, a cheeky grin on her face. She entered the room and closed the door behind her.
"Oh shit, I forgot you were coming over." Drake said with a small groan as he smacked his forehead with the palm of his hand. Kris pouted and crosses her arms over her chest.
"Fine Drake... forget all about your BEST FRIEND." Kris said with a pout, still not noticing Nathan. She fell backwards, expecting to fall on the beanbag but instead fell on Nathan's lap causing Drake to burst into peals of laughter.
"We meet again." Nathan said with a grin as he supported her back with his arm. Kris blushed before standing up at once.
"I'm so sorry, I didn't see you." Kris apologized before she hit the back of Drake's head. She plopped down beside him and stuck her tongue at him.
"Damn Kris! That hurt!" Drake whined with a scowl as he rubbed the back of his head. Kris just smirked.
"Anyways, Kris, this is my cousin Nathan. Nathan this is my best friend Kris."
"We've met." Nathan said with a small laugh giving Kris a wink. Kris blushed and looked down.
"You have?" Drake asked clearly confused. He looked at Kris waiting for an answer.
"We bumped into each other in the hall during lunch." Kris explained as she grabbed the bag of chips from Drake and pulled out a chip, nibbling on it. A loud beeping suddenly filled the room causing Nathan to jump up and swear.
"Damn, I gotta go. Sorry but I'm supposed to help my rents unpack. See you tomorrow." Nathan gave Kris another wink before leaving, making sure to slam the door shut behind him.
Kris let out a sigh before falling back on the bed, a grin on her face. Drake looked at her with an eyebrow raised, questioning her sudden change in behavior.
"Why didn't you tell me that Nathan was your cousin?" Kris scolded as she sat back up and crossed her legs.
"You never asked, and besides, how was I supposed to know that you had already met him? I was supposed to introduce you tomorrow." Nathan said with a shrug.
"Damn he's so hot..." Kris said dreamily as she laid her head on Drake's shoulder.
"What did you just say?"
