Chapter One
He had put his clothes somewhere, he just couldn't remember where. What did it matter, there were clothes all over his room. A pale hand flew threw the air, groping around on the floor for some suitable type of clothing. His fingertips brushing against a pair of wrinkled jeans, he pulled them on. Sighing as he rubbed the sleep away from his half-awake eyes.
"I shouldn't stay out so late." He mumbled half to himself, and half to his empty cramped apartment wishing another would answer back.
Yet, no one answered back and that's how it had always been. His emerald green eyes returned to the floor, searching around for a shirt. Satisfied with a dark blue tee, he pulled it over his rumpled dark brown hair, and drew himself away from the bed to examine his image in the mirror. A sly grin crossed his flawless face before leaving as instantly as it had come.
He wasn't really aware what time it was, but the feeling of the world around him spoke noon. He yawned deeply before walking to the bedroom door and opening it. The sight that greeted him was much like his room. His kitchen connected itself to the living/dining room and a large window that provided a glorious view of the building next to his, sat in the far back. Junk and other miscellaneous items were spread across the floor.
He busied himself in the dank kitchen, with no light. It hurt his eyes after awaking, and only provided a tainted feeling to his skin. Something that the moon or sun never did.
He had always wondered what it would be like living in the wild, alone, with no one to bother you and only the moon as your guide. But these were always fantasies. Hell, he was living in the middle of the city, as far away from the wilderness as possible.
