In the air where I can breathe,
It shivers me, but not the breeze.
Not the cold that chills my sighs,
And not the ice to freeze my "whys?".
December and the frost is here,
Shivering, without the cheer.
Stand outside to hear them talk.
Slept all day and now I walk.
In the air where I can breathe,
I stand alone until I leave.
In the past there once was two.
Now, I can't leave because of you.
The past a blur, but all I see,
Is summer roses at my feet.
So, once again, back then there were.
A million roses just for her.
Alas, the past, a blur, i'm blinded And forced to travel, roads have winded.
I once wore my heart on my sleeve.
Now covered up for none to see.
The past a blur, but it remains,
a summertime with fun and games.
But that has gone, now this is mine.
December, freezing, wintertime.
