Just Fine

I don't worry,

If they shed their tears for me.

I won't make them understand,

Something they don't want to see.

Let them believe,

That there's a truth in their lies.

Let them have,

Their high-society "whys."

I don't want a,

Structured life to follow.

Let me carve my own,

Place in the hollow.

No "ifs," "ands," or "buts,"

I'm done with that.

Can't stand another petty wish,

Or one more useless spat.

This is it.

It's all going to stop.

One more gasp for air,

Before I drop.

Breathe in, breathe out.

Ready to change the routine.

Don't want to be the "nice one,"

When my brain is set on "mean."

Highschool names,

Childish pouts.

I'm throwing them away,

And the people they sprout.

Not looking back,

There's only one more line.

And if it happens to be blank,

Well, that'll be just fine.
