The Ever-Lasting War

Good and Evil have been at war since before the beginning of time. 1800 years ago the war ceased and peace has reigned supreme. Evil is now resurfacing with a vigorous thirst for blood. Will Good be as lucky a second time if they don't act fast? Let's face it, will they admit they didn't do it right the first time in time to save all that exists?

Prelude

For eons the war between good and evil has waged, both sides fighting strong and hard. Much blood has been shed, and both sides have suffered great and terrible losses. The battle was basically pointless, until the twenty-second century that it raged, under the rules of Kali and Kala—this was a most interesting and famous period of this eternal war, for the two leaders were twins born from the same hermaphrodite mother; Gaia. It was in that year that the Chosen Ones emerged and ended the battle—for good—killing the rulers in the process. They were Apollo, Aphrodite, Ares, Artemis, Athena, Cronos, Demeter, Dionysus, Gaea, Hades, Helios, Hephaestus, Hera, Hermes, Hestia, Poseidon, Rhea, Selene, Uranus, Zeus, Jupiter, Coelus, Luna, Cybele, Neptune, Vesta, Mercury, Juno, Vulcan, Sol, Pluto, Terra, Bacchus, Ceres, Saturn, Minerva, Diana, Mars, Venus and Apollo (Apollo was repeated for a reason). They ended the war and brought along eighteen centuries of peace. They were worshipped as Gods, even when they were long gone and very much dead.

But now, after so long, evil is resurfacing with a new and improved weapon, one that they have been working on for a very long time. Now, with such a great weapon, Good is going to need more than a handful of Chosen Ones to fight them off and win. They'll need to reawaken the Gods and attack full force-if they catch it in time.

But the problem is, as Evil knows only too well-Good is stubborn as a mule. They won't admit Evil is back, they won't disturb the hard earned peace, for a good long while because, let's face it, exactly how reliable are the people in charge in any case and scenario on any side of good?

Exactly.
