"Damn." The beautiful young lady said as she darted down the street towards the safety of her beloved home. How do I get myself into this? I'm just so tired of running from this! Where is he! He promised he would wait for me!
She thought as the rain drenched her hair and every bit of her. Her hair was a brown color with amber eyes that would make the color of blood jealous. She wore a black tank top and black jeans with some off brand black combat boots. Around her neck tightly hung: a black choker with a red cross.
"Come back here! You no good little wench!" A group of men yelled.
The young girl ran down a near alley that was pitch black but soon she learned she couldn't go no farther when she crashed into a wall.
"Damn! I'm in more trouble! Stupid..." She said to her self.
Soon the men's footsteps stopped at the entrance of the alley. "She's in there!" One of the men yelled as they started to run down the alley toward the young lady.
She knew well enough that she couldn't climb the wall and there were way too many men to fight.
There too many on them.. I could fight them but I doubt that will get me any where! Where is he?! This is last time I depend on James to come and save me! The young thought as she crouched into a fighting stance. The men didn't care that she was ready to fight. The men all wore brown capes that looked like dirt. The men grabbed her trying to restraint her but she punch and kicked them till the leader grabbed her arm and pulled it behind her back. She yelled in pain as he broke one of her finger each time she tried to escape his grasp.
"Hold still you damn brat or I'll break everyone of your fingers!" The man was mean and strong in a force of way.
"Leave the girl alone!" A male's voice said from the darker pert of the alley that she hadn't noticed before. "Drop her now!" The voice said as anger ran ramped in his voice.
"This fight doesn't concern you buddy! This is between me and the girl!" The man said angrily yanking her towards the exit of the alley.
"I think it does concern me! See, she happens to be defenseless and you have weapon to kill her. I hardly call that fair…" The man voice was like the sound of the wind gentle and angelic.
The young lady could feel a swift wind glide by her then the man that had her in his grasp.
"Arg.." The man said as he hit the ground motionlessly with a huge thud.
The young girl shook uncontrollably. She just couldn't stop herself, the thing just happened scared. "What just happened.." She said trying not to scream but could help almost screaming.
As she was about to scream a hand covered her mouth from behind. The hand was soft but, cold to the touch. So.. Sleepy what going on? Is he doing this to me? Is he one of them… Soon sleep engulfed her devouring her mind sending her straight into the dreaming of home and friends, but she was quickly taken away from her dream world when she felt someone shaking her a little.
"Come on.. Open your eyes.." The voice was the one from before.
The young lady slowly opened her eyes to see a mysterious figure holding her. The only thing that stood out to her was his eyes that color seemed to be glowing gold like the noon sunlight. She was no longer in the alley but in a room that was pitch black and smelt of flower.
Where am I? The last thing I remember is the alley? Who saved me? How come, all the lights are off? Thought ran through her head as she tried to look around the room to no prevail.
"Are you okay?" He asked as he shifted a little.
"Where am I? How did I get here? Who are you?!" She said starting to freak as the eyes moved closer to her.
"I saved you.. And about where you are.. You're safe. That's all you need to know.." He said as could feel his warm breath on her lips, which made her lips tingle. He then moved back quickly.
"What's your name kid?" He asked as he moved some more till he was out of arms reach of the young lady.
"Hey! Don't call me kid! And as for my name.. If you aren't gonna tell me yours why should I even tell mine." She said trying to act as if she was not afraid.
"Fine kid… It doesn't bother me not knowing your name." He said staring at her.
That when it dawned on her for all she knows she could be stuck in this room with a creepy pervert or a murder. Or, one of those.
We're stuck in this room and for all I know he could be a murder, or a pervert. Or, or, one of them I have to get out of here! I could scream but then he might kill me or maybe I can attack him. Then run as far from here as possible. The young lady thought as she reached for the pocketknife that she had stuck in here pocket before she left her house.
"Kid what's wrong?!" The man asked concerned that she might be sick or dying.
"Let me out of there! If you don't I'll stick this knife in you so deep you'll cry for your mother!" She said trying to make herself as tough as she could.
What if I miss? I won't miss!
"Cool it.. I'm not your enemy.." He said calmly.
"No! You might have saved me but, who do I know your not gonna hurt me! We're in a pitch black room and for crying out loud you could be one of them!" The young lady said flipping open her pocket knife, pointing it at the young man.
He could feel her shaking in shear fear of him for the thought of what he might be. "I see your afraid.." He sounded as sad as he said to her. "You are free to go. I don't care what you do." His voice still sounded sad but there was a hint of coldness.
To be continued….
