It was raining that night. I remember it only too well. Mom was saying something, but I was too busy staring out the window to listen. Trees passed us at a speed that didn't seem right. I looked at the front of the car. Images flashed through my brain at a rate that my mind couldn't comprehend, and for lack of a better term, I had a seizure.

I remember everyone asking me what was wrong, and then I wasn't there anymore. I was watching from somewhere above as the semi truck hit us. I saw my twitching body slump against the car door, eyes staring off into space. I couldn't even scream.
