Author's Note- This is pretty much just randomness that has come out of my boredom. Generally when I'm bored I just add on to my other stories, but sometimes I don't feel like it or I just can't think of anything else. This most likely won't make sense and that's why I'm writing it—so I don't have to stick to a specific plot line and I can have purple cows appear out of nowhere and so on and so forth. You get the point.

Overcoming Writer's Block:

Chapter One- Green Trousers

There once was a girl who had a purple dress, she loved this purple dress more than anything in the world until one day while thrift store shopping she saw some neon green trousers. Immediately she bought them. They were a bit baggy, but she still loved them. People began to notice her new pair of green trousers and suddenly she became a trendsetter.

Often time's people would go up to her spouting things such as "I love your green trousers so much that I bought 10 pairs of green trousers myself!"

Occasionally there would be a bad apple that would insult her green trousers, but it was rare. Why would somebody dislike green trousers? They're green, come on!

She searched and searched for another pair of green trousers such as her own but couldn't find any. Every other pair of green trousers was a different shade; all of the neon green pairs had been bought by her groupies.

Her mother decided to have a garage sale one day, and told her to get together a bunch of her old things that she no longer needed. While going through her stuff, she came upon that faithful old purple dress. It had been the only thing she would wear for a long time, until she had seen these comfy old pants. How could she get rid of something that she had once held dear to her heart? The answer? She couldn't! Of course not!

Now, the dress was never as successful as the neon pants—but still! She couldn't just SELL it! The girl decided to wear it to school the following day. When she did so, everybody was aghast. She wasn't wearing her neon green trousers! Everybody felt so betrayed, but they also understood. Pants had to be washed. That must've been the reason she wasn't wearing them! Right?

When she went home that day, she decided she would get rid of the purple dress. She had no use for it anymore seeing as she wasn't going to wear it any longer. The trousers, however, were her one true love. So she got rid of the dress and never looked back. The girl decided it would be best to have an all neon green wardrobe, so she went to the mall!

To begin with, she would look at cosmetics—lip gloss, eye shadow, eyeliner, nail polish. At The Icing she found eye shadow that was bright green with some glitter and some green-yellow nail polish. Gleefully, she went to Hot Topic because she knew they had many different colours of eyeliner.

Frantically she looked for the eyeliner, eventually finding a small bin with them in it. She grinned. There it was, many different neon colours of eyeliner. She looked through it to find the specific neon green—but it wasn't there. Sadly she began to exit the store when she saw to her left a pair of trousers, they were neon green. She squealed with joy.

The girl tried them on to find out that they were a perfect fit. Sadly, they were fifty dollars, but she bought two pairs anyway. It didn't matter the price, as long as she was happy her parents wouldn't mind too much. So she marched out of the store and decided she would have to go back when she got more money.

Now that she had multiple pairs of neon green trousers she would never have to worry about when to wash them again. Over the next few months she bought neon green trousers of every style, some even with cute patterns on them—but her original loves would always be in her heart, along with that faithful old dress.
